simply copying an existing key
so you have an exact copy of the
original key. Not all keys can be
cloned but many can.
The most powerful choice
you can make is the program-
ming section. Programming will
take you to a screen that asks
three important questions, make,
model and year, (see photo 6).
For this example we are using
a 2016 Subaru Forester. With
that information entered you tap
The next screen will give you
two options to choose from, (see
photo 7). We will pick the tran-
sponder key option. This will
take you to an option page, (see
photo 8). The option page may
have one option or several. The
difference is that more than one
type of transponder may have
been used during the model year.
