Olympus lock has recently introduced an easily rekeyable replacement
lock for the National Lock C8137
T-Bolt lock. The Olympus T37
T-Bolt can be used in place of the
C8137 for metal bank drawers
made by Diebold, LeFebure and
Mosler, (photo 1). The T37 is
designed to be easily rekeyable
and easily serviced.
In addition to the advantage of
easy rekeyability, the T37 uses a
stainless steel bolt to minimize the
likelihood of bolt breakage, (photo

of the bolt rides on the drive pins
on the back end of the lock plug,
(photo 3). The lock body can be
installed into the drawer first and
fastened with the included nut or
an optional spring clip. The T-Bolt
is quickly and easily attached,
(photo 4). The key is inserted and
turned to the 2:00 position. Then
the bolt is pushed inward until the
spring snaps into place.
To reverse the process and
remove the T-Bolt, turn the
key to 2:00 and pull the bolt up.
Using a small tool, depress the
bolt spring through the hole on
the back of the lock and pull the
